Offer to Purchase Enforcement

In September  2018, Attorney Heney made a successful Motion for Lis Pendens in the Boston Land Court before the Honorable Judge Piper. The client was a buyer who had signed an offer to purchase property with the seller, but was then unable to finalize the purchase when the seller (who had signed the contract to purchase as well) refused to sign the purchase and sale agreement. Attorney Heney filed a Complaint and his Motion for Lis Pendens to protect his client with the Land Court in Boston, which he was later successful on.

Update: Client later agreed to settlement on and was able to purchase the home in December 2018.
